Application for the issuance of license for the provision of media services via cable, satellite, IPTV (except terrestrial) electronic communication network

Applications for the issuance of licenses for the provision of media services via cable, satellite, IPTV (except terrestrial) electronic communication network are submitted to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media.

Applications are submitted on the AL Form with annexes.  

If the Regulator determines that the applicant has submitted a complete application and accurate data and complete documentation, the Regulator issues the applicant with a license and enters the media service in the Register of Media Services.

The Regulator issues a decision rejecting the application if the Regulator determines that the applicant does not meet the requirements referred to in Article 81 of the Law on Electronic Media, as well as if it can be concluded based on the documentation submitted pertaining to the proposed programme concept that the applicant would not fulfil the obligations set out in Articles 47-70 of the Law.
