Personnel of the Turkish regulator visit the REM

Personnel of the Radio and Television Supreme Council of Türkiye (RTÜK) have begun a five-day visit to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM), with the aim of exchanging knowledge and technologies in the regulation and supervision of the operation of media service providers.

During the visit, the Turkish regulator personnel will, in addition to exchanging experiences with the REM employees about their daily work, also have an opportunity to visit the PE Transmitters and Communications, where they will learn about the digital potential of broadcasting in Serbia. 

In July of this year, the two regulators signed the Protocol of Cooperation and the the Protocol on Expert Personnel Exchange, which aim to improve communication, exchange of experience and joint support in the regulation of the media sector and the sector of supervision of the work of media service providers.
